Seasonal dune-front retreat measured by repeat drone photogrammetry at six Irish beaches

Abstract

We compare dune-front positions from repeat drone surveys at six sites over two winters and find that most retreat happens in a small number of storms. The method needs only consumer drones and a handful of ground control points.

This is a sample abstract written for a demonstration website. The authors, journal and findings are fictional.
