Who we are
The IMEALL project is run by Ardnagh University (fictional), which is the data controller for this website. Contact the project office at info@imeall.example.
What we collect and why
- Event registrations: your name, email address, optional organisation, role and any access requirements. Used only to manage your place and tell you about changes to that event. Lawful basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Website feedback: your answers and, if you choose, an email address for a reply. Used to improve the website. Lawful basis: consent.
- Server logs: IP address, page requested and browser type, kept for 14 days for security. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
How long we keep it
Registrations are deleted automatically 30 days after the event ends. Feedback is deleted automatically after 12 months. Only project staff with an editor account can see either.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies for visitors. Cookies are used only when project staff log in to edit the site. There is no analytics or advertising tracking.
Other services
- Map: map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap when you open the study sites map, so your IP address is sent to the OpenStreetMap Foundation.
- Video: nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. The player then loads from youtube-nocookie.com (privacy-enhanced mode).
- Share links: these are plain links. Nothing is sent to a social network unless you click one.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent, by emailing the project office. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission.
